The Petersham Hotel Richmond

During my recent stay at a charming hotel in a lovely location, I had a good experience. The gardens were fine, offering beautiful views of the river. The walk into town was pleasant, and Uber was also readily available. The menu offered at the restaurant was enticing, and the breakfast was well-cooked. The friendly and helpful staff made my stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff, especially the concierge. Birthday surprise and local recommendations made me feel special. Clean, quiet single room, had everything. Beautiful location with river views. Impressive dinner, loved the ham hock terrine. Would definitely book again.

Despite not offering pets allowed, this venue had everything else on offer. We thoroughly enjoyed dining in the restaurant and indulging in room service. The hotel was impressively clean and very well-maintained, with staff doing their best to ensure guests had all they required. We particularly appreciated the 24-hour reception, luggage storage, and leisure facilities, all of which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. we highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an exceptional experience that will leave them feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.

The entrance staircase & decoration, superb views, cleanliness, great location, beautiful view over the Thames, easy access to riverside walks.

The hotel's location in a superb area overlooking the Thames and very close to the amazing Richmond Park. Cleanliness, hotel facilities, and staff were excellent.

I booked our room at The Petersham as a treat for my wife on her birthday. The hotel went 'the extra mile' and provided a little birthday gift in our room for my wife. Also, a small piece of cake with a lit candle after dinner! Nice touch. The location is great, with a stunning view over the Thames. The outside area and lobby made an impressive initial impression. The room was bijou but clean and charming, with excellent facilities. The staff were consummately polite and charming, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Nothing not to like.

The location of the hotel was convenient, not far from Heathrow airport and the underground station, which made it easy to travel into the heart of London. The hotel had a nice cafe where I could have a much more civilised meal. The room I stayed in was comfortable, with a good view of the surrounding area. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The service was efficient and the staff at the restaurant were friendly.

I was disappointed to find that some of the staff were unfriendly and impolite, especially at the restaurant.

The service at the hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. The breakfast was also very good, with a variety of fresh fruit and well-cooked hot dishes. the location of the hotel was superb. It was conveniently located, just a short walk away from both Richmond center and Richmond Park.

The room I stayed in was a bit disappointing. It was small and felt a bit claustrophobic.

The location of the hotel is great, close to Richmond town centre and easily accessible by taxi or bus. The view of the river from the hotel is breathtaking. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and well-designed. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is enjoyable and cooked fresh to order. The hotel also offers a waiting area in the restaurant for guests. a great choice for a getaway.

The hotel needs separate heating controls in the room. The room temperature was too warm and couldn't be adjusted.

The view from my room was amazing, with a fine panorama of the river Thames. The spacious seating area and balcony provided the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The bed was comfortable, even larger than what we have at home. In terms of food, the restaurant was great with amazing dishes. The bar service was also great, and I particularly enjoyed the nibbles they offered. The hotel's location was lovely, and the elegant reception area and restaurant perfectly matched the building's age and style. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as the lighting in the room and a tired bathroom, I had an excellent experience at this hotel. I highly recommend a stay at this charming hotel.
